The Hive

Looking for a place to hang out with your fellow artists, musicians, craftsmen, and writers?

Then you may want to check out The Hive, on the corner of Hyde and Pacific. The Hive’s honeycomb hideout is a privately owned art salon dedicated to connecting artists, musicians, craftsmen, and writers. Those who are in the loop can look forward to movie nights, collective art projects, and shows in both visual art and music. The space itself does not just host art but hopes to be a moving working piece of art in and of itself.

Right now the admission to the gallery is by invite only and it’s not open regular hours, but check out one of the Hive’s public events, held from 5-8pm the first Thursday of every month and maybe you’ll meet the right people to get on the elusive “list”.  The venue can also be rented for private parties.
