Mercer Caverns

If you’re looking to get out of town + explore, we suggest that you check out Mercer Caverns, a three million year old living limestone cave.

These caverns, open to visitors for over 100 years, are renowned for their beauty + historic significance. The owners have gone to great lengths to modernize the amenities while keeping the limestones untouched.

Known primarily for the rare Aragonite fios ferri, the cavern has other featured limestones that are simply incredible. Be certain to check out the “angel wings” + the “Fairies Grotto.”
