Personal Information, Statistical Data + Collected Information

Urbanïs collects two types of information—personal information and statistical data.  Personal information includes the user’s name, address, email address, and phone number.  Statistical data includes other information including but not limited to gender, occupation, birth date, income, and age.

The purpose of collecting such information is to help Urbanïs assess what type of information our users would like to receive in the future and to better serve the users.  Personal information is for our records and to facilitate customer service.  Statistical data is used to perform marketing analysis, to serve our users and to enable them to take maximum advantage of this site.  Statistical data is the only type of information that will be provided to advertisers and/or other third parties and partners.

Whenever you use the site, Urbanïs may collect your IP address, the type of operating system or browser you use, your geographic location, and the time and date visitors use the site.  This collected information does not contain any personal information and we do not link such automatically collected information to personal information about you.

In registering with and/or using our Site, you give Urbanïs your full consent to communicate with you in any form at any of the contact points you provide to us for any purpose.

Disclosure of Personal Information

Urbanïs utilizes reasonable efforts to protect your personal information.  We cannot guarantee that any collected information may not be disclosed or accessed by accidental circumstances or by the unauthorized acts of others.

The Site provides users with the opportunity to opt in or out of receiving communications. If you would like to change your opt-in/opt-out choice, click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the Urbanïs newsletter.  

Non-Commercial Use by Members.

The Urbanïs website and its services are for the personal use of individual users and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors.  Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the Site, including but not limited to any collection of usernames, email addresses or any other information of members by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited email and unauthorized framing of or linking to the Web site is not permitted.

The internet is not a secure medium, and neither the privacy of your communications, nor visits to this website can be guaranteed.  The nature of internet communications means that your communications may be susceptible to data corruption, unauthorized access, interception and delays.  This website may include incomplete information, inaccuracies or typographical errors.  Urbanïs and any other persons involved in the management of this website may make changes in the information and content included in this website at any time without notice.  Urbanïs is and shall not be responsible for any detrimental reliance you may place on this website or its contents.  Use of this website is on an “as is” basis and is strictly entirely at your own risk.  By entering this website you acknowledge and agree that any communication or material you transmit to this website in any manner and for any reason will not be treated as confidential or proprietary.  Furthermore, you acknowledge and agree that any communications, information, ideas, concepts, techniques, procedures, methods, systems, designs, plans, charts or other materials you transmit to this website may be used by Urbanïs anywhere, at anytime and for any reason whatsoever.
